According to the brochure that i picked up several months ago the 990 has a yanmar engine. Hope that helps.

I would suggest whenever doing loader work having some sort of rear ballast,

Ask for a brochure for the L3000, the L3000 and L2600 are in the same brochure.

I agree with Halsey, those numbers are right on, at least here in South-Eastern Michigan. Please post a follow-up and let me know how you like it, I am trying to decide between the JD790 and Kubota L3000 as we speak. Have fun. Paul
